Walking down by the harbor, checked out the memorial to Victims Of Chemical Valley. It’s a well done perspective sculpture looking out toward the refineries.
What did you take a photo of on your walk today? (feat. CHUNK)
YES!!!
I am thrilled to be 60 years old and on NO MEDICATION. I get double-takes from intake technicians when they see my 1959 birthday and my scribbled note “I take no meds” under the section to list your medication.
I used to leave it blank but kept getting questioned about it since they thought I was getting dementia and forgot to fill it in
Not got out on my walk yet as my Chunk isn’t feeling too good, he had me up in the night to see to him too. But he’s convinced that he NEEDS my Bulgarian yoghurt to help him feel better and who am I to argue? I trust my boy to know what will help him, but we will be at the vets tomorrow if he’s still not well.
Our local arts center has an amazing series of public art you can walk through.
Today, I walked 35 years (YARDS!! damn autocorrect ) without crutches! Longest walk un-aided. 70 degree weather, sunshine and fresh air.
So nice to be out an about on a short keto walk today.

The Herring Hotel was built in 1926 by cattleman C.T. Herring. It was leased and later purchased by Ernest O. Thompson who owned the Amarillo Hotel and several other hotels in the Panhandle. Ground was broke in mid-June and the Hotel opened in early Dec. of 1926. They poured a floor every 3 1/2 weeks. It cost 1 million to build, had 2 miles of pipe, took 400 plasters and was built in less than 6 months.
How far does everyone walk?
I am recovering from knee repair surgery and pneumonia. Baby steps for me, I’m graduating from walking inside my house to outside and would enjoy seeing the goals others have.

I have a bad foot/ankle. Some days I can walk a couple of miles and some days a few hundred feet. Some days I use a cane and somedays not.
