What are your blood sugar numbers?

I just learned that ketosis may cause chronic pre diabetic fasting blood sugar levels and diabetic response to a glucose tolerance test. This may be reversible.

I cannot find any human studies confirming this (only mice studies). The information comes from this article:

The only way to get some data, then, is to share our numbers.

What are your fasting, post meal and glucose tolerance test blood sugar numbers and how long have you been in ketosis?

Does everyone have pre diabetic blood sugar while in ketosis because this article is the first I’ve heard of it!

My a1c was normal after a year in ketosis, fasting blood sugar was normal too, neither were diabetic or pre-diabetic and after a glucose tolerance test my blood sugar would actually drop to nearly hypoglycemic.

this Is correct, if you’ve been in ketosis for a while and take a glucose test, it will be funky. I believe it was dr Kraft that said the person had to eat carbs again for a period of time before taking the test and getting real results. I forgot how long though…

I remember from one of the 2 Keto Dudes podcasts that Dr. Kraft suggested upping carbs for two weeks prior to blood work. Other suggestions were three days prior.
Hope that helps.
