Were we meant to be old school vegetarian in Spring and modern carnivore in late Autumn?

yea and if you equate their food choice when no meat protein is around to our everyday menus here, we got big problems.

I so get it. Natural carbs when fending off starvation in a lifestyle one lives is fine by me. It was meant to be that way.

Not a darn thing natural about food sources today in most countries and environments and all.

Would I eat a potatoe for sheer survival cause I could not hunt game.
Darn right I would

Do I have to eat that bad tater and all the toxic problems it gives me now…nope. I was blessed with options to make it all work better for me and not against me in my western lifestyle is all I can say if one follows the true science.

A lean mean LC body. That is what bodies are supposed to be. Carbs included if you live that lifestyle…no one does anymore but a select few. Apples to oranges. Never.

The interesting thing is that the women don’t eat the same way the men do. The men eat high protein, lower carb, and they are very lean.

The women don’t go on the hunt, they forage, they eat higher carb, and they are softer and rounder.

Yup…those actually expending energy to get that meat are those burning up the body. The women prepare the meat but are not expending anything like a hunter.

Plus I have to say women and men will never be equal  There are massive diffs. in needs so if a guy, find what works, a gal, do what is needed…best we can do.

great point!!!

Silly me for thinking lipolysis and ketogenesis synthesize butyrate. So now I’ll have to add tasteless, cold, boiled potato and/or rice mush to my daily routine. Thank you for alerting me to this serious deficiency in my diet. How about hash browned resistant potato mush with bacon and sunny side up eggs? :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Understood. I guess my observation is really just that. This is a group of people eating as close to our ancestors as possible, and the women are naturally rounder and softer. Definitely, not lean athletic machines that is held up as today’s epitome of good health and fitness. This has been very enlightening for me.

Potato’s boiled and cooled few times it is just like becoming fat adapted, it takes time to make your own butter (butyrate) in the gut to get it to optimal levels if you like burning actual body fat? I would hate relying only on an external source like grass fed butter when I can make it myself. :slightly_smiling_face: A double layer of keto?
