Weight stall on keto....frustrating

I know I am going to receive some heat because I have lost a lot of weight pretty quickly, but then stalled, but I started back on Keto… May 13th and have went from 272-244 since then. However, I have gradually reduced the amount I have eaten because the deeper into Ketosis I get, the less hungry I am. However, at the same time, I have been burning 5-7 thousand calories a day especially in the last two weeks. But, I have only went down like 3 pounds in the last two weeks, but I am walk/running 4-5 miles for 40-50 minutes with my heart rate constantly in the high 180s and then incline walking on treadmill for an hour all while fasted and then later in the day I lift and do some other sort of HIIT workout. If I had to guess I am eating anywhere from 2000-2200 calories a day and am 6 foot and 244 pounds currently. I know the number on the scale isnt a big deal and there will be stalls, but there shouldn’t be a stall while I’m still very heavy. My idea is that the stall should come when I reach like 215 and below. I have been adding more and more cardio, more and more activities such as basketball and tennis, so this is very stressful to see the number not go down in the last couple weeks.

That’s pretty unlikely, where are you getting those numbers? Please don’t say of gym fitness equipment. In any case let’s pretend that’s right, if you’re burning that much and eating 2200 you’re starving your body. It’s going to hold onto EVERYTHING it can! Holding high 180’s? That’s not safe dude. That’s HIGH! Fat loss is typically in the 120-140’s. Cardio is higher, and endurance higher than that. I’d be worried about 180’s.

Stalls come as a result of diet and activities in most cases.

The exact wrong thing to do! Do you have gym access?

5-7 Calories a day. Usually I wake up and do incline walking on treadmill for an hour that is 500 calories and heart rate stays between 125-150. Next I do a walk run- where I jog and one my heart rate is 180s I walk until i am in the 140-150 and then I jog again for around 45 minutes which burns 600-700 calories. Then I usually eat my first meal which is usually 3 eggs 3 slices of uncured organic bacon and half an avocado. Then I lift weights for atleast an hour which burns anywhere from 600-800 calories. And I usually caddie 18 holes of golf which burns around 2k calories. And every day I have been pushing myself to run further and further and add in a different late night workout. I use a Whoop and an Orangetheory heart rate monitor and both are very similar in results.

I dunno know man, those seem like REALLY high estimates! Especially the weight lifting. Does your whoop allow you to tell it the activity you’re doing? I feel like you have a really high heart rate while doing stuff and it’s seeing that as you running a Marathon all day or something.

A three pound loss in two weeks is not a Stall. It is normal, healthy progress. Any faster and you risk metabolic issues, and if that happens many here will recommend you jab a stick into your eye, which doesn’t work. A Stall is when you lose nothing for at least a Month. Be happy, things are working as they should. Your only other real option could be Liposuction.
