Weight stall after 10 days

I lost about 7lbs my first 10 days and now I seem to have hit a stall. Is this normal? I’m eating the same way that I was the first 10 days. Ive been checking my ketones and ketostix always read moderate or large amounts. I understand that those 7lbs mightve been water weight. Anything I should change? Should I try fasting?

Perfectly normal. Weight loss is slow and it isn’t linear, you’ll have fits and starts. Focus on the other benefits of keto and let the loss happen.

I was going to write that 10 days is not a stall, but I just re-read your post: you lost steadily for 10 days but now (last few days?) haven’t seen a drop in the scale? So you’re asking about a several day “stall”?

Take a deep breath, follow the above advice and please put away your scale for a bit; it’s not your friend.

Perfectly normal to lose water weight and then stop losing lbs for a month or two before you switch to burning fat. Don’t worry about it and put the scale away!

Focus on NSVs (non-scale victories) like more energy and less hunger, or shinier smoother hair and clearer skin, etc

Weight loss is far from linear. You have most likely fallen into that trap of planning your future weight loss path on that first week or so. Bad idea! I lost half my bodyweight over two years. I had plateaus for weeks and months on end. Very normal. Very frustrating but just the way it goes. KCKO.
