Hello guys, i started keto diet 12 days ago, and felt really good, at the first week and still feeling pretty good throughout the day.
i weighted myself before i started the diet and i weighted 94kg.
i weighted myself again 6 days ago, and i weighted 90kg.
i weighted myself again today and i weighted almost 92.
and i am asking you today , how is it possible? i am eating roughly the same as before maybe drinking a bit less than the first week but still, avoiding the carbs, maintaining about 30-20g carbs per day, eating 230g fat per day and 140g protein. and eating 500 calories less than maintaining weight calorie intake.

How is possible that i am not dropping weight anymore and in contrast to that gaining weight?

Forgot to write that i added to my diet for the last 6 days every morning a teaspoon of Wheatgrass juice powder on an empty stomach , but im pretty sure it Isn’t doing anything with gaining weight, sounds like it should do the opposite.

What makes you think that?
To be honest I can gain or lose 2 kg in a day (yes I have measured hourly)
A pee, a good “evacuation” can have significant impacts as well of course as hydration and water retention.

Alcohol? I find even though I drank more before keto, my weight goes up within hours of drinking. I find alcohol dehydrates me more on keto and I do hydrate. Had two glasses of wine last might and in the middle of the night I drank several 8 oz glasses of water. Later today the body will shed most of that water weight.

Think about weight as a trend and individual weighing as just data points. The trend over many weeks is what is important. Let the trend be your friend.

Keto helps with weight normalization and metabolic derangement. It’s not a magic bullet for weight loss. It helps your body get to the point IT wants to be and it will do it at its own pace. Also far too early to be worrying. And that’s a lot of protein.

Could the wheatgrass juice be causing you to retain water? Just a thought. Also I second the able to lose or gain two pounds in just a couple of hours. Of course that loss or gain is water weight.

nha, it is very healthy and has nothing with retain water…
guess it’s changing frequently

That’s not gaining weight, you’re fluctuating!
