Weight gain and migraines?!

Hey All!!! :wave:

So I’ve been committed to Keto for about 3 months give or take and have lost around 15lbs! Go Keto! I am loving the lifestyle and know how to correct my “mistakes” without them snowballing like in the past.

Any who - this morning I woke up nearly 3 lbs heavier!! I am baffled as I’ve been strict Keto and tracking all of my food.

Lastly, I’ve been getting constant migraines the past few days :thinking:

Any thoughts?!

What has your diet been like the past few days?

Add more salt. Your weight can vary about 4 lbs. every day, up or down.

Are you well hydrated and stocked on your electrolytes? I get migraines but they have definitely decreased in severity and frequency. If my head starts aching I drink water with some lemon and salt. Hope the headaches are easing up. My scale fluctuates madly from day to day, a proverbial roller coaster but my weekly average shows a definite downward trend.

Thanks ladies - I haven’t changed my foods at all - maybe that’s a problem. I live in thebbeach so hydration is key but I’m going to do a 3 day egg fast and see if that helps the situation.

Have you delt with migraines your whole life? I’ve had them since I can remember. Sometimes they can be brought on by food allergies or anytime I get any added pressure in my head like swollen sinuses.
