Weight fluctuation has me frustrated

I’m sure everyone has answered this for me before but I’m going to ask again lol how can I be like 160 one day and 165 the next like what the heck. I was so happy because I wasn’t like 163-161 for the last like 5 days and now back to 165. Maybe not enough water ? I think this happened before and then bam I dropped like 5 pounds and kept it off. It’s an odd phenomenon . My waist looks smaller since I last measuerred but I couldn’t find my measuring tape to remeasuer :rage:

I’ve noticed the same weight fluctuation. It usually happens to me when I take some pain killers like sodium naproxen before bed for my headaches. I think it has something to do with water retention, but I’m no expert.

Weight fluctuates. It’s just the way things work. It’s like measuring the water level of the ocean. Waves come in and it’s higher. Waves go out and it’s lower. Rinse, repeat.

Your exertion levels, how much you sleep, the weather, your intake, your output, it’s all in there. Some you can control, some not so much.

Obsessing over a scale is pointless.
