So I am losing some weight-- very slow on keto but inches not moving. I feel and look great and my clothes are looser but how? I am the same in inches? I am confused. Any ideas? I am not lifting weights and doing light cardio twice a week, some weeks no cardio at all. I am on the third week of keto. Any words of wisdom?
Weight and inches
How are you measuring inches? I’ve tried measuring my waist, but I found a lot of error there.
I feel like this stuff is a waste of money when you can eat keto and be in ketosis for free ! If it works for you that’s great though
Congrats on your progress. But as you’ve only been doing this three weeks, your body is likely adjusting to the changes as well. I lost about 20 pounds the first three weeks, but I think it took a bit longer to begin seeing and feeling changes. They will come soon. Keep up the good work and try some physical activity like walking to help firm up your body.
If your clothes are looser, you’re losing inches. You just need to measure in more places to see exactly where that inch loss is happening.
Sounds like you’re off to a great start! Congrats-
I mean I am measuring my bust, the smallest part of my waist and my hips. Should I measure other areas? Suggestions?
@Q_ish I measure in lots of spots (listed below) partly because I love tracking but also because it’s how I monitor my maintenance.
Seems like a lot, I know! But I just take them 1x/month and it takes about two minutes (including putting them into my spreadsheet).
Above the bust
Bust
Ribs just below the bust
Waist
Abdomen (at the hip bones)
Hips (at fullest point of the butt)
Upper thigh (R and L)
Mid thigh (R and L)
Calf (R and L)
Upper arm just at bottom of teardrop muscles (R and L)
