I have lost in three months about 14 lbs. what’s weird is I’m in smaller pant size than I was 25 lbs lighter. My wife says it’s fat loss not weight loss that causes waist to get smaller. Is she correct?.

Keto sort of promotes muscle and bone mass gain while also promoting fat loss. You may have gotten healthier bones and muscles if your waist went down more than your weight. You’ve been lucky to lose fat so quickly.

You must be a newlywed, to even ask this question. Your wife is always correct. The sooner you learn this, the better!
(And it is indeed fat loss that causes your trouser size to go down. It is entirely possible to add muscle and increase bone density on a ketogenic diet, while simultaneously losing fat, and the weight gain from the new tissue and bone can cancel out some or all of the weight loss from the fat, thus making it appear as though nothing is happening.)
