I posted earlier about not loosing weight the first week on keto and everyone said be patient. Then I read how so many loose so much thier first month! I was on Atkins and could not loose anything. Can some people not loose ? I am documenting everything and staying around 15 carbs. How long should I give it before abandoning?

Really - ignore those people. There are a couple of really nice women on here (I’m sure) that have had phenomenal weight loss. It makes the jealousy monster rear it’s ugly head (for me). Then there are the guys who will tell you they lost 30lb the first month. That doesn’t even seem healthy. There are “unicorns” out there. Pay little attention to them.
I’m on keto as prescribed by my doctor (yes, really) and it’s frustrating not to lose more up front than say, calorie restriction. That didn’t work for me (ok - it did but it wasn’t sustainable and I gained the weight back plus some). I encourage you to keep with it. Make sure you’re doing it right (no cheating and whole carbs - not net - as close to 20 a day as possible).
Adding - maybe you are in advertently doing calorie restriction. This week, try the 20 whole carbs and maybe look at the Chonometer or Carb Maher app to see how many calories you should have. Upping my calories actually helped me lose.
Nah, you can see in people’s profile how many they’ve started. It just gets messy, and people reply multiple times, and so on.
