Walking after meals reduces insulin

Wow so simple walk after meals might reduce insulin?

Maybe I shouldn’t slump down in the couch or lazy chair after I stuff my face. LoL. I’ll try to make the walk a habit, couldn’t hurt to add it.

I thought that’s what keto does for you. When I did my 2-week CGI experiment several months ago, the daily glucose plot was close to a straight line (slightly wavey) in the low normal range. You would be hard-pressed to determine my meal times from looking at the daily plots. Of course, insulin does not correlate directly with glucose, but if glucose flat lines day after day, then insulin is probably not far off that. Unless one is insulin resistant, which would cause insulin to go higher. I think ketones are a fair proxy of insulin. If ketones remain fairly constant, then likely insulin does too. So, a flat line glucose and relatively stable ketones would indicate stable insulin. I’ll try to test that next time.
