Vitamins?

Are these ok? I bought them before I started keto and I haven’t taken them but I hate to waste them if they would be beneficial at all.

The folate and b12 component in the first one looks fine. The St. John’s Wort and Griffonia are supposed to be natural antidepressants acting on the serotonin pathway, and it probably makes little difference between being keto or not.

The bone health supplement contains some the right things (calcium, magnesium, and vitamin D) but I don’t know if the ratios are correct. It depends on how much of those things you are getting in your diet, what your blood levels are, and if you’re getting enough vitamin K2.

@Daisy might have something to say here?

The form the vitamin takes is quite important.

Bottle no 1.
You would be better off with a methyl folate than folic acid, same with the B12. Do a search on Amazon for methyl B12 (I use Jarrow) and methyl folate. St John’s Wort is used in relation to depression as Carol mentioned. I am not familiar with Griffonia. SJW should not be taken alongside antidepressants. I have tried it in the past and found no benefit but I know some people swear by it. You could also look at 5-HTP for same.

Bottle no 2.
Piddly little doses but a reasonable combo. Again the forms are not great Magnesium oxide is usually considered the worst when it comes to tablet form (it does seem to be better when trickled in via electrolytes mixed in water).
