I was wondering if anyone knows about peanuts lowering glycamic response in a similar way to ACV? I have read this a couple of times lately but not particularly on this site!
I would much rather eat a handful of peanuts before a meal than drink ACV😀

Peanuts have high satiation, high-protein, and are low on glycemic index scale. They have high lectins though. I wonder if you could pressure cook those

Only reduced glycemic load after the high glycemic meal. Control and low glycemic meals post were unaffected.

Well I’m sure we would be aware of it if it was relevant. I have seen it a couple of times…I kinda hoped …
Oh well back to the ACV😝

Boiled peanuts are delicious especially with Cajun spices. In the shell is best but skin on Spanish peanuts are also great. A southern US treat that’s sometimes sold roadside. :yum: :peanuts::peanuts::peanuts::peanuts:

I was quite the fan when I lived in the south. A little brown paper bag full of steaming boiled peanuts was a treat. Here in PA, you can only find them in cans and alas, it’s 20+ grams per cup.
