No reason he was scared to be anorexia or stop eating bcz I was crying bcz I’m not losing weight and I play boxing and I was 110 pounds and suddenly gain like 15 pounds and never can lose them

That could easily be down to the thyroid imbalance. I would focus on correcting that. Please double check this prescribed use of Vitroza too - it really does seem worrying.

I have not been losing weight for past month or so after initially losing 30 pounds on keto. I still weigh 155 pounds, so need to lose 30 more. I bought ketone strips, which I had never used before. It confirmed what I thought…I am not in ketosis. My macros are right. Only 10% gross carbs (so less than that net). For carbs I basically just eat a half an avocado for lunch and other vegetables such as broccoli, cauliflower, kale, spinach, asparagus, zucchini, etc for dinner. I don’t eat a lot of nuts or drink alcohol. A few days a week I might have 10 halves of pecans or a sprinkle of chopped walnuts or a half serving of macadamia. I intermittent fast until lunch most days.

I am on Victoza, have been for almost 2 years. I also take Metformin 1,000 mg BID. I read this post several months ago when I wasn’t losing weight as fast as other people. In July, my a1c was 6.3 (down from 7.3), but I thought the Victoza might be unnecessarily increasing my insulin production. I will be going for labs again this month. In October I stopped taking the Victoza for 2 weeks to see if I may not need it and my post prandial blood sugars would remain the same or even improve if off Victoza. It did not work out, my post prandial blood sugars increased from about +/- 100 to +/- 130. Any insight into this would be appreciated; there’s not a lot of info out there for people on Victoza and keto. My doctor supports this diet, but wouldn’t be able to tell me why I can’t get into keto in Victoza.

I take Victoza and Metformin, and I just had a checkup. My AIC is 5.2, I’m going from 1.8 on Victoza to 1.2 and my BS is very steady. I’ve been on Keto for about 2 months and I’ve lost 20 lbs. My endocrinologist told me that because I still make insulin, the Victoza just keeps it steady for longer. We’re going to wait and see the results of the new dose in July, then revisit. I’m also reducing my blood pressure meds. I’m not doing anything about the metformin yet, because it would make the result of the test on Victoza murky. I don’t know if this is helpful or not, but I’m going to keep on with keto. In addition to T2, I also have IBS, so I’m hoping it will reduce symptoms there as well. Good luck! Also, I’m mostly strict keto but sometimes I go over my carbs, but my proteins are pretty steady.
