I’ve been using the extract powder recently. Expensive to buy initially but lasts so long that it’s really good value. Alcohol free too which is why I changed to it.

I couldn’t believe my eyes last fall when shopping at Sam’s Club and saw “tiny” 8 oz bottles of pure vanilla extract with a $20 price tag, blew my mind. Was glad I had bought a few bottles there a couple of years ago (16 oz size for around $8 if memory serves!). My husband thought I was a bit excessive at the time but he’s glad now we still have one left…
