Just saw a dietician on a segment on the TODAY show recommending to upgrade your carbs ( segment flew by so fast didn’t catch it all to share here) & add resistant starch ( bean based) to your diet. She has a new book coming out -SKINNY LIVER -didn’t catch her name.
ALL I HAVE TO SAY is its NO wonder we have the health problems we do! The mainstream media continues to give airtime to all the experts that have it wrong! (Kill me now!)
Upgrade your carbs for your health?!
I just saw that, too! She said to eat them to lose fat. The sad part is people are doing what she says.
Most, if not all media is owned or funded by big pharma, either directly or indirectly through advertising. Follow the money.
The message continues to get repackaged and re formulated, like “carb cycling” or “slow carbs” or " safe carbs" or “naturally occurring” carbs…etc…until they find a hook that works. I have a family member, who is severely obese, extremely ill, and has asked for my help after seeing what great success I have with keto.
But…that person has also been influenced by some other “paleo” person, who tells them it’s ok to eat honey…because it’s a “natural carb” source.
So, this person continues to suffer…eats loads of butter, bacon, fatty meat, etc…because I told them that’s what I do…but, also scoops many spoons of honey in their coffee and tea, because the “paleo expert” tells them that’s ok.
