Unintentional fast advice please

I have been back on the keto wagon for the last 8 weeks. I lost in the first two weeks and then nothing. I have been eating more for the last few weeks and finally (I hope) have stopped being a slave to my macro calculator and I’m only keeping my eye on the carbs and keeping them under 20 grams. The scale has started to move in the right direction. Yesterday I was busy and by the time I got round to food I thought I would see if I could fast (but after only 8 weeks I wasn’t sure if I should?) I did feel a tiny bit peckish though later in the evening so I had coffee with approximately 1 tablespoon of coconut oil and a little bit of cream. It’s now about 43 hours since that coffee and I’ve just had a cup with just a teaspoon of coconut oil. It will be late by the time I eat and I’m sure it will be low on macros. Is it better not to eat at all than to eat small (well a lot less than a normal days food)? I am female, 5ft 5, age 51. I started off at 149lbs and today I’m 135lbs. I would like to get to 9 stone but not too worried about lbs, I just would like not to be squeezed into my jeans ).

Listen to your body. If you can fulfill your hunger with a small amount of food, then great. But if your hormones are encouraging you to eat more, then listen to them. This will ensure that your body doesn’t start slowing your metabolism because it perceives famine.

I’m a fan of feasting and fasting. Mixing things up will allow your body to be comfortable with using body fat for fuel because it knows a solid meal is not far off. I’m not talking about stuffing myself silly… just eating a very satiating meal.

Thanks Carl, this is what I was worried would happen if I didn’t eat ‘enough’.
