It’s a very good idea. Someone who obsess about the scale this much, shouldn’t even weigh themselves every week or month… But obviously it doesn’t work this way. Still, it would be nice not using the scale if it causes such problems…

And indeed, inches matter more. I can’t measure myself but I have some more or less tight fit pants and I feel if I gained or lost some - and it sometimes shows me different things than the scale. +2 kg but my waist is the smallest since long… So it’s fine. I don’t want some special low density body, I don’t need to weigh myself for a competition so my exact weight doesn’t matter much.

Stressing out about this might do more harm to your weight loss than the lemonade. Spiking cortisol, your stress hormone can have very real effects on weight gain and spiking insulin.

The ‘Keep Calm’ part in the KCKO mantra is the key. Good luck and don’t stress it!
