Under chin fat not budging

Is neck fat hard to get rid of? Or harder ?

5’5 female - started at 184 now I’m 146

Iv lost 6 inches off waist
3 inches off arms and legs
I forgot to measure my neck at the start so I haven even measured it at all and my face is slimmer however I do have fat under my chin area .

I see other weightloss before and after and people’s faces are so thin but my face hasn’t done as much as my body, eventually do you think it will catch up? Hoping to lose another 10-15 pounds

I think you’ll be fine. Just keep doing what you’re doing

I bet most of those thin-faced photos are high-angled selfies!

Fasting can definitely help with that.
Or cool sculpting after you have lost your weight but the chin remains.
It’s so difficult to spot reduce.
I have these two pockets of thigh fat, oh god, I can’t wait until it’s gone.

Your body stores fat where it wants to, and loses it where it wants to. You may get to an ideal weight and not have your body back to where it was 10 years before. That’s when you decide whether to live with it or get cosmetic surgery or carboxy shots.

You can also try fasting to get autophagy working for you but that is a long process.

Before keto Iv done cool sculpting and kybella Under chin and my advice to anyone is it’s a waste of money and just get lipo because you will end up paying almost the same for less results . I’m just hoping my under chin area gets better because I don’t want to get cosmetic surgery :frowning:

I’ve always wondered about the cool sculpting, of course places that do it like to spread pictures on instagram and say how amazing it is but I don’t believe in following any influencers and I try and speak to REAL people who have had it done before, so it’s good to know it’s a waste of money!

I would suggest fasting, it has amazing healing qualities.

My experience is that the fat is leaving in reverse order of arrival. My face fat left me fairly early, because it arrived fairly late in the progression, whereas the belly fat was the first to arrive and is being very stubborn about leaving. Try to trust that your body knows what it’s doing, and I’ll try to trust mine. And give it time. As we say, “Keep calm, and keto on!”

You can actually do chin/neck exercises that are extremely effective in tightening up that area. I often forget about it, but whenever I see a bit of double chin forming, I do those exercises. They look a bit foolish, but do work! You basically just tilt your head up and thrust your lower jaw out and in, tightening those muscles. I’m sure you can google it and find a video far better than I’m explaining lol.

Having fattened and deflated a couple times, I can tell you for ME I must hit my “normal” weight range for the neck to go. I have near no fat on my legs, stomach can be flat, but the neck hangs around till the end.
