Um...Ew

It’s been going on for years, too.

(Apologies if someone already posted this info.)

But Skittles are a subset of vegetables…

No seriously…this has already been posted, but your visual is a good one!

Yeah, I figured that incident wouldn’t get by anybody on here. It’s just too gross. Like Skittles.

The sad thing is that Dr Lustig commented how Mars company is great, because they released in the press their efforts to reduce sugar consumption (unlike other competitors who try to kill the “sugar is bad for you” message). I think Dr Lustig was not aware of this when he said those words. Oh well. Lesson learned.

Yeah, I remember him mentioning that and being shocked. And by shocked I mean “not really buying it for a second that a major corporation would voluntarily reduce the chemical that ensures explosive sales except maybe as a convoluted marketing ploy that has all the true health benefits of a single iceberg lettuce leaf in a kid’s Halloween candy bucket.”

It’s gonna take a massive, unstoppable grass roots revolution of shifting shoppers like the one that’s gradually causing Coca Cola to twitch at quarterly meetings to turn this sugar thing around. America gives lip service to “health” but let’s not fool ourselves about the ethics of this country, you gotta punch 'em in the financial testicles before the needle moves on the Corporate Common Sense Meter.
