UK members - what bacon (rashers) do you eat?

I want to try a variety of bacon rashers to find my favorite. What bacon rashers are all you UK members eating? Thanks :bacon: :bacon: :bacon: :grin:

I get mine from my butcher but in a lump so I can slice my own… I really prefer thick bacon slices (about 6-8mm thick) so much nicer than the wet crap most supermarkets sell.More like gammon steaks… I like both smoked and unsmoked and usually get back bacon although we used to have streaky.

When my ex and I lived in London, the local butcher used to have uncured back gammon that was very tasty.

Essential Waitrose packs of 12 smoked streaky rashers - I only really eat bacon at weekends so I’m not really buying in bulk. Nice and fatty, crisp up nicely, no liquid at all comes out. Affordable on a ‘buy two’ deal.

Tried a new-to-me farm shop recently and got some really meaty homesmoked back rashers - I was thrilled to notice for future reference they also do big packs of bacon ends - so excited - BUT there was so much water in the rashers that it was poaching rather than frying! Ugh.

Not buying bacon from THERE again…
