I started on the Ketogenic Lifestyle on 8/21/15. I weighted 379 pounds and I had told a friend about a recent Doctor visit where my Doctor had told me that she didn’t think I was long for this world. She asked me how I felt and I told her I believed she was right. I went to work a couple of days later and told a friend what had taken place. He asked me if I’d like to fix the problems I was having and I said “of course”. He then explained the Ketogenic Diet. It’s been great ever since, like many the same story happened. I came off diabetes meds, same with blood pressure, lost and bunch of weight, found energy that I thought would never happen again, started living again and very active. I want drag this on, but down 115 pounds and all the other previous mentioned changes, I just had to share for those that are just getting started and maybe questioning the path. I will never go back to my old lifestyle no matter what. Thanks to all those people who have and do supply me with the information and knowledge to make this the best I can. When others ask me about the Ketogenic Diet, I warn them to tell me when they’ve had enough. I have a lot of passion and can’t help but tell them what I can. Thanks to my friend for passing along to me this message of Keto.
Two Years on Keto
Way to rock the Keto life Jimmy, congratulations on changing your life!!! This is incredible, you must feel like a new man, with a new life ahead of you too. I wish I could share this with my patients, but it is forboden! It is so sad to care for patients who are instructed by their providers to eat the AHA and ADA diets to “for their better health outcomes” Oh yah, sure! It is a tragedy of epic proportions and truly constitutes malpractice, in my opinion of course.
Again, congratulations to you Jimmy!!!
Wow Jimmy that is amazing work! What did your doctor think of your changes and the keto approach? Such great news!
She watched the complete process and was very interested. She was Paleo and couldn’t help but tell me to take it easy on the bacon. I provided a lot of information to her at her request. She asked initially where was I getting my information and I supplied plenty. I know that I’ve changed some of her thinking but I’m not real sure where she is on the subject. She has watched my progress and told me to keep doing paleo and Keto. She doesn’t know I haven’t had a piece of fruit for two years. I am going in next week for blood work and I know with those results she’s going to be calling me to discuss.
I’m so curious to see what your results will be, and how she responds. No fruit, no paleo…teehehehehehe, let us know the outcome will you?! I’m so excited for you
Your story is inspiring! I’m a newbie trying to get started. It feels overwhelming at times. Thank you.
Stories like this are why I’ll always know I’m on the right path! Awesome job! I hope to hear more about your next visit with your Doc and what she says…
