Hi. New to keto just over 3 weeks. My ketone levels fluctuate in out of ketosis everyday. From “low ( my Meter literally says low) to 1.8 usually. I hit 3 once. I’m literally doing everything I think I should be doing. And of course my boyfriend is having no problems staying above 1.0 consistently and losing weight. I have been running 3 days a week and CrossFit 1 day a week. I’ve read some comments on here that working out may not be the best for getting fat adapted? Is this accurate? My boyfriend has not been working out either, so I’m curious if that may be a problem?

Yes and no. I lost 10#s quick. Which I know is just water weight , I do feel better. So yes. Overall better energy. No stomach issues I used to have. It’s just frustrating to not be losing weight while my significant other is. I just want to do it right.
FWIW higher ketones don’t equal higher weight loss 10lbs down, more energy & improved digestion all sound like indications you’re on the right track. Weight loss can be weird if you exercise a lot too because you will retain some water during rest/recovery. You may be better off taking measurements.
Stop chasing numbers. You’re active and ketones are a fuel for the activity you’re doing. You can’t keep them pumping around in your blood and use them at the same time.
You’re doing all the right things…
I would guess If you’re mixing up cardio and more intense CrossFit and having reasonable rest periods, your body is going to be in and out of transition as far as muscle breakdown / repair, hormonal balance, glycogen ups and and downs etc etc go, so ketosis will naturally fluctuate a bit too.
