Trying ADF

I decided to try out ADF but with only having coffee water, and unsweetened almond milk on fast days. In reading Jason Fung’s “Complete Guide to Fasting”, his 36 hour protocol doesn’t say how many calories to eat on the feast days,. What’s confusing is that he has a sample menu for the feasting days and it seems pretty scimpy ( about 1200 cal for each eating day)
My question is: I thought we aren’t supposed to calorie restrict if using a fasting protocol, Can anyone clarify??

The goal is to reduce insulin spikes as you reach the magical 36hour milestone for peak autophagy.

As far as calories go, I Fast for two days and then feast as much as I can consume on my feast day which usually is two days worth of calories.
