Tried Five Guys' burger bowl for the first time

No I didn’t
Humm…Missed it

Went back to five guys today to get a pic for you guys. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger (comes with two patties), then I added on two extra patties, extra cheese, and extra grilled mushrooms. It’s $2.00 for an extra patty.

My order was around $15. The burgers definitely don’t have that fake fast food taste. You can tell these are the real deal!

Five Guys has free salted peanuts in the shell for while you wait, too. It’s just too much food!

I used to be obsessed with their fries, last couple times I had them (at different locations) they were under cooked and soggy. I think they cook them at a really low temp or something.

I got a burger bowl there recently as well (two patties, cheese, mushrooms, lettuce, mayo). Filling and delish. I like to pour malt vinegar over my patties. Sounds weird, I know, but it works for me. Yum!

The fries are too good. I watch my family eating them and think “Not today Satan!”

When I first joined the forums and was asking for help, one guy said to think of it as “deathfood.” Still works!! :skull_and_crossbones:

Kimchi is so underrated and not really known by many people or talked about!!!

Just had my first Red Robin wedgie burger. It was awesome and came with unlimited salad which I thought was great! They even added avocado to my salad when I asked. They didn’t even charge extra.
I had one that was suppose to come with a cheesy sauce and I substituted a slice of cheddar. Awesome burger!

Damm now I’m over here fantasizing about Five Guys. There’s one about 10min away but I can’t leave the house to go get it. Rawr.

Make the husband go? Or Grubhub.com it.

(Mario) #31

or make for your own

That looks good! I’ll take two.

That looks amazing! I don’t know of anything similar in the UK. Does anyone??
Every now and then I fancy a mucky take away. I occasionally have a chicken madras with a cauliflower bhaji. But only about 3 times since I started keto a year ago.
I once rang the chinese and asked if there was anything on their menu that didn’t have sugar in it. I waited while the girl asked the chef and she came back and said no - sorry!

Surely you could always go to your local naff caff and order “Spam, Spam, Spam, Spam, and Spam”!

(Jody) #35

Note to self: don’t look at this forum on fasting days, it’s making me hungry.

('Jackie P') #36

What I would really like is for someone to deliver a 4 pattie mound of cheesy, bacony loveliness to my door so I can eat it in my pjs while watching a slushy movie! :yum:

I’m always drawn to the food threads when I fast, lol.

(George) #38

I gave this a try yesterday after seeing this thread last week. It was great! nearly satisfied my macros for the day LOL

(PSackmann) #39

This thread prompted our dinner last night, I must say I prefer the burger bowl to the lettuce wrap. I will do this again, too bad no delivery from ours, not even with Grubhub.

Multiple coworkers are now getting burger bowls. I think I may have created an epidemic

Only a matter of time until Five Guys starts giving out free buns along with their peanuts.
