Here we are. Another year winding down. Into the New Year we go soon.

Any goals or zc issues to chat?
Just cruising along on plan and doing well?

Here is the new thread: away we go

(Michael) #2

Today and tomorrow I am taking my breakfast (times two or three) into work (college where I teach) for my classes to try a taste. I am pre-slicing into tiny pieces so those who are interested can try a tiny piece of each thing on my plate. Beef liver, Chicken Liver, Veal Thymus, Buffalo Heart, Beef Bone Marrow and Sheep Spleen and Sheep testicles are what I am sharing, for those that are interested. I have one class today, and two tomorrow. I will let you all know how many takers I have, especially as the testicles, heart, thymus and livers will be raw/lightly cooked. Only the spleen will be well cooked.

#3

@Naghite
ohhh I can’t wait to hear the reactions and who is brave  will be interesting on that for sure!!

I mentioned on the thread we closed how wonderful your dog looks, alot of big big big cute there. Nice pic!!

-------------today for me is simple. dog to vet again for him being sick, getting that handled I hope today. Then home to eat the 4 last hot dogs from that pack. I decided even if not interested I am not throwing out hard earned money  So eat those hot dogs and I ate 8 hot dogs for the year :smirk:

today is a steak for me after home from vet later and then family gets spaghetti meatballs. eat up those last hot dogs and I do have chicken backup in fridge if needed. All covered.

Those chicken thighs I made last night were monsters. I swear they can’t grow chickens that big, or can they now on chems and drugs? hmmm, but I thought 6 smaller ones in that pack and it was 4 monster ones. So ate 1 last night and got that second in fridge for today if wanted. Key being I am not a fan anymore of them but for price cost every now and then I will eat some to help the wallet

ZC on strong guys!! We got this TreatyMeaty holiday month handled!!

edited to say being the holiday season month that can be a toughie  I am just eating on plan and enjoying zc to the fullest. No experiments or changes at all. Get thru this month and then think about the new year ya know if any eating changes might go down but I doubt it. But this month, just hold well and enjoy all my zc delights!

#4

Thanks, I am interested what will happen
I would try everything if they wouldn’t be raw. I never had thymus but who not? The liver and heart is good, marrow is okay, spleen can’t be too bad either… My attitude originally was worst with testicle but once you said it is good  So it’s probably better than lungs, I pretty much hate lungs (at least the one of bigger animals, dislike the texture, don’t find much taste).

I start to miss organs. I only had liver lately and that was a week ago…

Sunnier day. I got hungry already at 15:20 but a small lunch was enough. So I probably will have a small eating window still. I had some pork and 3 of the cheesy egg white fluffs Alvaro likes. But this time it was quite nice with one of my fav cheeses in it, grated and with Red Leicester cheese cubes in the middle. I even forwent the yolk I usually add… But I used some sour cream in mine. I have my “creamy eggy things” phase. I always love them but I experiment with this more.

Not many goals for December but for now I do my best…? Alvaro brought me a teeny-tiny pork chuck  He said he had no more room but it’s fine for now. Oh and he bought turkey wing bases as well so I feel safer now.
I plan to make dinner OMAD days if possible but if I get hungry earlier like today, of course I eat (and keep my eating window tiny as that works best for me).

My quite normal looking chicken thighs each weigh as much as the tiny hen for soup minus her own legs…
I am fine with chicken thigh here and there nowadays. I have wonderful spicy chicken jelly in my oven pan, I tasted it for lunch, fun! Alv can have his too watery, not salty enough rabbit jelly (he probably was afraid something happens in the pressure cooker, normally he makes quite great stews. but it was a disappointment. some extra water and lack of salt makes a huge difference), the chicken jelly is mine! :stuck_out_tongue: It’s firmer than the rabbit jelly, I can grab a piece and it is held together, Alvaro was surprised. I told him the chicken thigs has a lot of skin… And of course, I am careful with the water, I usually err on the other side and burn it but I was careful now.

How on Earth can we talk about carnivore food so much forever…? One would think we eventually run out of things to say. Nope. It seems just like with eating, repetition is fine. And we have new experiences here and there.

#5

And I had my dinner too. Eating window below 3 hours, I feel very much stuffed.
Meat is a tad more than yesterday, 358g in total (chicken and fatty pork). I just can’t eat very much now. It surely will change later.
I obviously had eggs and dairy but not much.
Maybe 1600 kcal for today.
My protein intake dropped, it’s only around 100g for the last 2 days as far as I can tell.
Good. I would hate to waste money on unnecessary protein (not like I have any idea about my protein need but according to my experiences it couldn’t be over 120-130g and I probably am fine with way less… but that’s just statistical, maybe I deviate from that epically, hence the mentioned and perceived limit. that is ignored right now but I always had unusual macros for 1-2 days, it’s normal).

I liked my food today  The chicken wasn’t fully tender (it seems it needs 2 hours just like pork) but it was fine, I just fought a bit to get the meat off the bones. The cats wouldn’t have minded if I didn’t but good luck at getting MY meat from me, even if it’s just chicken. There was some left for them anyway.

Chicken thigh and some pork seems to work perfectly now (along with enough other carni items). I do this combo again as there is some left from both and Alvaro is fine without more chicken. He has his cheesy puffs, one batch is enough for him for 2 lunches and I got some myself.

More odd dreams throughout the night. Had to chuck another quilt on the bed and it’s doubled over. When I change the bedding the nice warm brushed cotton sheets are going on to keep mey feet toasty. I hate getting in an icy cold bed with cotton sheets. When you haven’t had any heating on the sheets can almost feel a bit damp! They soon warm up but the night before last I sensed I was waking up through feeling chilly hence that doubled up quilt went on.

Alarm set for this morning 7.30am as I had a block booking between 8am and 1pm for the gasman to service the boiler he did a thorough job or he didn’t know what he was doing idk lol he was about an hour at it and the others who have done it in the past are never longer than about 20 mins! I like to think he was being thorough. So as he didn’t arrive till just before midday I had had a rump steak for brunch and a couple of hot beef stock drinks, 3 cups of coffee…I think that was it lol all to warm me up. I had sat outside for a bit reading but it just got too chilly and I think I got a bit too cold in my bones. Did 100 air squats and 100 lunges which did warm me up … it was meant to be a lower body workout today but couldn’t quite squeeze in a gym visit as I was picking Raymond up after gasman to get him some shopping.

Came home and finished off the pork chops from the slow cooker. Reheated them as I could bear the thought if eating anything cold. Managed to eke out 2 bowls and it was almost like a stewy soup. Did eat some cold cheddar though lol but that never tastes cold does it?

Just going to continue as I have been doing through December. No real changes need to be made, pretty much all carnivore apart from a bit of dairy cheese. I’m doing okay on that as I am not eating it to the same extent as I was when a bit addicted to it a few months back. Being fairly consistent with both food and exercise which is all good. Xx

(Megan) #7

Hi Karen, why don’t you consider cheese carnivore?

(Judy Thompson) #8

Thanks all for the sweet birthday wishes! We had a wonderful gig lastnight, that was gift enough! People were great and very responsive. One table in particular paid close attention and wanted to come see us this weekend, & wanted business cards and violin lessons- and then we found out one man at the table is a famous artist - Jack Terry. We looked up his art. Hubby wants to get some, they’re beautiful.

(upload://zQ5zRqLdyH1tJdzoBJvjiEPupMO.jpeg)
Then a camera crew from Nashville came in the restaurant to film an episode of a show called “Texas Sweetheart.” Don’t know if we’ll be shown but we’ll be heard. They asked us to stay late and keep playing so we did. They did take video and stills of us but we don’t know what for. Anyway, every night playing is different and lastnight was pretty exciting!
They said the show would be on Country-something and on Netflix and Amazon Prime. And that we provided lovely ambience
@Naghite love that beautiful dog! Naturally you feed him carnivore but also raw? Pricey! Mimsy is just 9 lbs so feeding her raw is not expensive.
New freezer came in today! Now, all the meat I need to eat will have a place to stay! So excited.
Yesterday I sous vided a couple nice prime rib steaks and then seared them. They were perfect. Lastnight I fixed a cheese omelet but didn’t get a pic. This morning, eggs and bacon and this afternoon, wings at the brewery. No pic of the wings… I must get better at shooting food pics!

Yesterday I went to the PT. Physiotherapist they are called here. I went to see what I can do to properly get back to surfing :surfing_man:. They checked out my flexibility, balance, and strength with a few test exercises. They did a double-take when I said that my physical activity has been limited for almost 3 years. How do you maintain muscle mass, if you don’t exercise regularly? asked the PT. I had to say I was not sure. I turn 57 next week. The PT said I was in better shape than most of the 40 year-old surfers he treats. The PT is a surfer specialist. And there I thought I was a physical wreck. Lots to work on, however. And it has to be physical activity I love, otherwise I am not allowed to do it (his rules).

Summer here, so, I’ll walk Billie the Labrador at the beach, do some ocean swimming, and breath-hold diving to look at the reef creatures, “farmer’s carry” chores where I water my trees with 20L buckets of recycled greywater - walking up and down the slope on the property out in the sunshine, hang by my arms from some of my trees, maybe do some yoga. I do not like the gym, but once a week I will go to rehab sessions to strengthen areas under guidance from the PT.

Woke at 6:30am. It’s full daylight. I had to go and check on a forest that was burned in a bushfire last weekend. It’s called doing a “black walk” where you look for injured wildlife and record data photographically.

On the way home I drove the coast road and pulled into a farm shop that has been on my mind. It’s a deer farm. They had recently got new owners. The guy slicing the meat at the counter was my doppelganger, a big man-bear. But he was South African. Those South Africans certainly know how to create delicious meat. I left the shop with a few try-out things as we navigate the festive season:

  • Venison sausages
  • Venison “Osso Bucco” cut (cheapest and recommended for flavour by the man-bear-man)
  • Venison “Ham” - it’s leg muscle cured like pork ham, but made from a young deer
  • Venison mince, or as USA may say “ground venison” to make “burgers”
  • Venison prosciutto for the platter

Should I have lamb for dinner? Nup. I have carnivore experiments to do!

Breakfast was NoFUN (no food until noon), 3 rashers middle cut bacon, 3 local free-range chicken eggs scrambled, 2 slices Jarlsberg cheese (40g total). 2 coffees at 3 hours apart and some magnesium supplement. Walking a fire ground can be hard work. Post coffee with double cream blood glucose at noon = 5.7 mmol/l (103 mg/dl).

The bushfire had been intense enough to leave no obvious survivors. I did find a roadkill Western Brush Wallaby on one of the fire containment roads. I can’t say that I wasn’t tempted to throw it in the boot of the car for later-on snacks. Mrs. Bear and I ate roast wallaby in Tasmania about 5 years ago. The weekend was a hot yoga retreat that Mrs. Bear had won in a yoga demo. The cool thing was that most of the people were vegetarian, except the host and I. So we got a belly full of wallaby. It was very tasty. But this time I left it for the Parks and Wildlife Ranger to log in their bushfire report.

Bushfire still smouldering:

SO true, SO true LOL
you know it is a subject of just eating so well, loving our food, never feeling limited or on a damn diet anymore kinda gives me the power to chat this lifestyle over and over again  I think when people find what works so well for them they thrive and talk about it…we all just chat about it cause this lifestyle suits us all here so well! and it is nice there is no moaning about it as in we have no cravings, we feel full and nourished, we ain’t making complicated low carb crap recipes none of us want to bother making, no darn forced tracking, track only if ya care to track and enjoy doing it, other than that, no worries on this plan.

WE FOUND ZC FREEDOM I guess one can say :sunny: We like to celebrate our freedom!! Cool

@Karen18
Oh I know that ‘too cold to the bones’ feeling. Not good. You go warm up girl!

You sound like me on cheese. I ate alot for years and then the dependency on it just slowly faded. I eat cheese only when I really want it now. Sounds like you will do the same kinda. Alot of us progress like this about cheese.

@JJFiddle
beautiful art. I checked out that horse real well, lol, and it is painted beautifully. Any horses in art I eagle eye them since I am a horse gal LOL

Maybe on TV for you guys but you know your music will be heard in that episode. JJ that is SO COOL! You are definitely leading an exciting life, so enjoy reading your posts! Thx for sharing it all too!!

@FrankoBear
Super glad to hear your PT put you at such a younger physique and interesting you want to put yourself back into good surf mode. Love it! What a glowing report for you to move forward. All that protein keeps the muscles healthy  Plus lugging heavy azz buckets to water your trees and other homestead work ya do.

buns of steel right? all that Billie walking is treating ya good.

So interesting your bush fire walk. wow. I hope that wasn’t ‘too close’ to your home location!

and finding yourself a ‘new farm shop’ full of meat to taste and see if ya like it! You are going into the new year with ‘the Belt Tales’, ramping up the body with some PT to pinpoint improvements to hit the surf, finding new carnivore delights around ya, sniffing out those farms and more! Great post!!

-----------------SO SOME BAD BAD NEWS on the little Bolt the Papillion dog. He got some kind of abdominal cancer tumor happening. I knew he was getting more sickly and ‘so off’ ya know but vet did fast xray at visit yesterday cause she said his butt/anal glands ain’t the issue area at all, his belly extended and hard etc and xray showed something in there and looked wonky diff. than a gut xray he had 3 yrs ago when he ate some crap and got sicky icky. So when compared, yea this new xray shows some bad crap going down. Waiting on bloodwork to see liver, kidney values etc but not good at all.

Since this is place for my horse vet, this other vet does the small animals only. She said I know you had horses and used Doc Martin and she said I know you can take it, she said he is limited. Don’t think surgery and reasons why, etc. She said I can tell you straight out and I said I know ya can  So she couldn’t do ‘time limit’ and more on how this is gonna go down but she gave me some idea.

Key being this is my daughter’s lil’ brother ya know. Got him at around age 5 and she is gonna head into college next year so he is a part of her. I told her most of it but gave some glimmer of hope with ‘let’s wait and see and get confirmation etc’ just to spare her a bit but she knows the big issues here. Her eyes glazed over into zombie land a bit. I know she doesn’t wanna accept this for sure. So heartbreaking of a situation for her and I hate it has to happen for her but life marches over all of us doesn’t it? No one is spared in truth.

I got fingers crossed he makes it past Xmas. I don’t want my kiddo’s memory being my dog died at Xmas ya know. oh well…just makes me sad.

So wait see but he is sick. I can see the downgrade very quickly which is why I got him into the vet. I wasn’t liking how he was acting so at least we know what is doing.

Today gonna defrost one of those Tbone steaks and defrost one of the smallest pork loins. food covered.

BBBrrrr. only 25F this morning. too cold for me and yet I live in the South’ but darn ya wouldn’t know it LOL I hate the cold so much, gonna be a super long winter for me. bleck.

ZC STRONG thru TreatyMeaty all. Into the New Year and we can only wish us all the best year moving forward!!

Pic of kiddo younger with Bolt heading out on camping trip.

I’ve been mostly keto for a few years now, but this is my first month doing ZC/Carnivore. My birthday is this weekend and my “cake” is a tomahawk ribeye. Wish me luck!

We wish you good health.

@JJFiddle: I like the painting  (I would have lead the eye to the figure with the clouds though, the sun is just too big of a focus, I personally look at it most of the time… Or rather a subtler sun, there is already fog, the sun could use some obscuring too. But it’s possible it works a bit differently irl… And it’s pretty neat.) I am so glad you had a nice, responsive audience  Music is so wonderful, I am listening to some maybe a tad too much but it gives me so much and I am not so alone if I have music (I am not the type who gets longely easily but I do am alone almost always and even I am a tad more social than that and my own thoughts tend to be too dark sometimes)… And playing is even better, I really should use my poor neglected keyboard again. I am not good, I merely did my 7 or whatever years in music schools (I played the piano) but it’s still nice. I remember when I finally could learn something pretty after a few years. It was a super simple, very easy short little thing but it had a melody! The previous ones didn’t resemble songs at all.
I don’t even have choir now… And I wanted to learn to play ragtime and similar fun stuff I never learned, just simple stuff… I have been just postponing it forever… Bad me.
(Good) music is wonderful  You give a lot to your audience with good music.

@FrankoBear: Yay! Better than the average 40 years old surfers even with less activity? Sounds great!

@Fangs: Poor Bolt  So me can just hope he survives Christmas but won’t feel big pain when doing so… Have a little more loving time with him…

We have SNOW!!! Already in December, wow. Oh it will melt as warmer times are coming but my pines always look super good with snow on their branches. Not so much now as there is too little snow, I think it’s already melting too…

And yesterday got messed up, I was so unsatisfied, I waited but then I had a boiled egg. And some this and that. And in the end I had to eat a bunch of meat at 2am (yeah, my sleeping time shifted lately, it’s not good, I am working on it). IDK if the problem was eating lunch, not eating a big enough dinner, too little protein or too little meat but I try to focus on timing and meat in the future. I roasted the tiny (barely more than 2 pounds!) pork chuck slab.
And I am experimenting with boiling eggs. You would think I know how to boil eggs already, I can’t guess how many thousands I boiled in the last decade but I did it wrong. Unless I wanted hard-boil ones as I don’t think that is possible to do wrong unless one burns them or forget about them for an hour or IDK. (Why people dislike green yolks I can’t imagine, I am quite fine with those. But overcooked is not a concept I am very familiar with anyway.)
So, I need a bigger pot, high heat and then everything is perfect - if I manage to figure out the right time for the right kind of boiled egg. But I am pretty flexible when I am hungry and/or the eggs are still warm. (And now I went and boiled them hours before my meal, oh well.)
Even the ones with runny yolk peels so nicely  Or the one I tried did. I put the eggs into the super cold water of the pot (it’s winter. Alvaro still has cold showers but 8 Celsius or whatever is the temperature of our tap water now isn’t something I want to pour onto any of my body parts. not even my hands. and I have no warm water in the kitchen, maybe we will be brave and try to fix that, after years… it’s no fun), I always preferred this. And it’s quite fine, I get my perfect boiled eggs in 6-12 mins. Yay. And if I just leave the eggs in the hot water afterwards, they become hard-boiled eggs. Those always peel nicely and easily, my peel problem was for the softer ones I prefer but not anymore, apparently. The 6 min ones are my soft-boiled eggs, that’s pretty much liquid so I just pour it out of the shell  Lovely but it should be warm. I drink 3 eggs in a few seconds if I want. But no, they should be enjoyed so it’s several seconds…

And I wanted to practice being concise. Maybe in another threads. When they don’t mention some of my fav topics. Like eggs  I love eggs again now but I must have mentioned it in the last days.

But I wanted to talk about what super- and hipermarkets offer now as well… I really hope it will be similar when we go…
Well. There are a lot of stuff. Super cheap young pig cuts with skin with a recipe that promises crunchy skin…
The hipermarket has lots of seafood now! Never saw such expensive food before than some of those… But there was so many things  I knew I can trust the hipermarket where the meat department is bigger than most full supermarkets  Or at least, many of them.

But I can’t complain, Alvaro brought me another, a slightly bigger pork chuck slab.

No food until sunset is done, I even finished my workout, I often neglect the chest press as I need Alvaro’s help there and I need being well-fasted when I do it… But now we did it after lunch  Alvaro too, he often joins me (he does nothing else, just that one exercise), it seems a full stomach is no problem for him. He did his usual 3x12, I did 6-5-3, it was soooo pitiful. A mere 22.5 kg barbell… I started with 2x3.25 kg years ago but that was another exercise.

#14

I don’t want to talk much about my dinner but I had it and it was unusually lovely
Soft-boiled eggs, pork chuck roast and more, all warm. Now I drink my first and hopefully last coffee of the day, a nice last course of my dinner (it has cream in it, yay. but yolk too as I still ate too little. but I got satiated and I don’t feel like stuffing myself, I am chill). It’s 7pm and I have no idea if and when I will have a second dinner. Oh well. I did everything I comfortably could, if my body is fine for now, I won’t force things. I ate everything I wanted or could tolerate, just to maximize my energy and protein intake while still feeling just nice.

The snow is melting rapidly.

(Karen) #15

Not sure what you mean?

(Karen) #16

@JJFiddle wow sounds a very interesting evening. Over here if the programme makers are doing scenes with you in them they have to get permission from you to broadcast them and get you to sign papers allowing them to do so. When I was at the hospital for my Stoke there was a broadcasting team doing filming for a new series of A &E. They got me to sign papers and also phoned me twice. They are supposed to send you a copy of episode you’re in so you can comment if need be. I haven’t seen any and also haven’t seen the programme broadcast when they said it wod be aired. Hey ho … fame eludes me again hahaha. It wasn’t meant for me to be famous. Glad you finally got your freezer, I couldn’t live without mine! Painting is amazing!

@FrankoBear Mr Bear you sound like you’re doing really well and your diet is obviously doing something positive where muscle mass is concerned. It i getting quite cold here with snow forecast for end of next week so I am a bit envious of your lovely summery weather. I am sitting here this evening g with blanket and hot water bottle and hands feeling a chill as I type this on my phone! Sad to see the bushfire and I can see in your photo the smouldering!

@Fangs oh bless so sorry to hear about Bolts visit to the vet, photo is super lovely of your daughter with Bolt. Sad times again. Prayers are with you

@ketolawyer welcome and happy birthday coming up. Sounds like a great plan have the tomahawk steak as your birthday treat. They sell them in Lidl but I cat warrant the cost against a rump, sirloin or ribeye and ribeyes are getting a little bit more pricey these days. Enjoy the carnie thread x

@Shinita we have snow forecast for next week! Would rather it passed us by … for me it just means it stops play… the dances get cancelled too quickly at the slightest hint of snow :frowning::frowning:

Up a little later this morning about 8.40am stair runs ran, 63 of them … yep odd number but I have been running to 5 tracks which are all longer than the norm. Then went outside for an hour. 3° out there but no wind so felt just nice and fresh, certainly wakes me up … if there stair running hasn’t already lol. Read n brew, lovely. Then upstairs to bath and dolly up for the dance this afternoon. Had a lovely rare rump before heading over to Lichfield

Had a super lovely afternoon, really enjoy my time there and never sitting for long. Drive was okay both ways today, no roadworks and I gave myself plenty time so about an hours drive both ways.

Ate some tikka chick fillets on way home to tide me over and then chucked some wings in the oven. They were very tasty and could have eaten them all again!

(J) #17

Protein plate. 5 of the 9 eggs were consumed before they could properly be plated.

#18

So many tasty zc food pics, I wish I had one of the delicious dinner I feasted upon today. Two lamb chops with a small mountain of bacon. Lamb is such a luxury, so wild tasting that I actually began to think of it more as an indulgent cz dessert! Crazy how things changes, and the coffee has now begun to taste a little sweet, I drink it black now, plain. Having ditched dairy I am already feeling so much better. Looking forward to the festive season which shall be filled with all manner of delicious meats. I am loving this WOE and I just don’t think I will ever tire of the cz foods.

#19

@Karen18: I wish you no snow then! Once a big national holiday celebration where the choir would have sung was cancelled in the middle of March but it was MASSIVE snowing… I kinda like snow but if it didn’t come until March, it should just forget about us until next winter! But March is like that, snow isn’t impossible. Not even in April, that is a crazy, anything may happen month but that is just a tiny snowing, melting immediately. And it’s extremely rare anyway.

My smallish dinner didn’t last long, to put it lightly. I went back to the kitchen and ate some more. 2.5 hour eating window if we don’t count the slightly creamy coffee I sipped afterwards. Carnivore doesn’t really want to mix with OMAD, at least now. I didn’t want much even from my lovely pork chuck. I ate a cute amount but not an OMAD sized one I fear. It’s good I have eggs.

With my night eating, yesterday I ate over 600g meat again (and fat went over 200g… I try and it still happens :)) and today it’s over 500g (it seemed so little but it wasn’t, apparently) with a very modest fat and protein intake, both are a bit over 130g (or not, I can’t track properly if I eat pork). That’s good.

Maybe I should stop tracking again… But as always, I am too curious. Even with mystery fattiness in meat, it gives me some info (and today I realized I had enough meat, I was a bit bothered that I can’t eat enough!). And it’s easy, I have so few items now! And I don’t overuse sponge cakes so I don’t need to make another batch and wash the tools and dishes so often.

Tomorrow I bake some fluffy eggy desserts again, enjoying that no Christmas dessert experiments, no food making for Alvaro… He cooks his own. After… Maybe not years but I don’t know, soooo many months!!! He cooks spinach again! Poor thing needs to buy ingredients and cook it asap as no way I let 2-3kg frozen vegs (the minimum amount if he wants a dish according to him) enter my precious freezer space. That’s for meat. And some other items, that’s bad enough but mostly for meat! Even now that I barely have normal pork, I have chicken, chicken liver, turkey and a whole, bigger than usual rabbit there. And egg whites and sponge cakes. Sausages and smoked pork hock. I need all the space there. So he planned to buy the stuff and cook it almost right away. But we always had other plans so the seasons changed and no spinach for him but now it ends.
So he will spend a thankfully not very long time on making something that tastes bad if you ask me (as it is almost purely that stuff, it doesn’t work that way according to my tastebuds) and what doesn’t satiate either of us (okay, as I never ate it, of course it had no effect on me but I ate 1-2kg from other low-carb vegs and just got hungrier). It seems such a bad deal but each to their own, I put much effort into other things important for ME.
I don’t know what he will get satiated with, he doesn’t know either but surely will figure something out. I don’t give him some of my tiny pork chuck, that’s sure. Maybe some fowl, we have plenty now and he is fine with that just the same. But he probably will eat eggs. It’s Friday again, I looked at my notes… We ate 77 eggs in the last week. Wow. Not surprising, I did notice I ate them more lately… And 11 a day isn’t so much, I didn’t do it alone.
But I shift the focus on meat again  I had 5.5 eggs today, that’s not particularly low but modest from me.

I used too many words again. I will try harder.

#20

You totally fit here

I mentioned it before but you have changes SUPER quick! I needed about 10 years on low-carb to feel black coffee sweetish and not always and it’s only for not bitter coffee and I drink it super weak so the sweetish water has some chance to overpower the not bitter coffee… BUT not so much time after I tried out carnivore and I ate very much sweets on low-carb and keto. Still. You have days and weeks and have changes we need much more time for!

Oh yeah, seafood for me ~. Just for Christmas.
And pork chuck galore, no one should think I won’t keep living mostly on pork and eggs but I really, really want to focus on my fav cut. Others go on sale more often or the slabs are bigger or have a price cap while being my almost as much fav cut… And I actually experimented with that leaner cut… So chuck was too rarely on my plate. Regularly but I want it more often.

Good for you! Carni food boredom is my big problem, it’s rare now but happens. But as time passes, it gets better  But you got it okay right away.
No one know what will happen in the future but yes, maybe your body (and mind?) is even more compatible with carnivore than mine. And my body loves it. (I just got bored a lot and had other problems… Yep, probably it’s the mind.)
But some things surely will change as that’s what they do. We have various phases. I am looking forward to see your journey!
