Traveling... What should I eat?

(vera) #1

So I am going to Arizona in a few weeks and I’ll probably going to be eating out a lot with people, so how do I know what they put in the food when I order?

I am also going to Nepal in July for a project and I’m guessing that Nepali’s will serve food in the village we are staying at and I don’t want to be rude and tell them I can’t eat it so what do I do?

Another thing, what are the best Keto foods to get besides the “basic” foods?
thanks

(You've tried everything else; why not try bacon?) #2

Restaurants are easy: just stick to steak and a salad, and get a fatty dressing (blue cheese, yum!).

Nepal, on the other hand. . . . Perhaps Google has some information about the food there, and you could pick out keto items to ask for. Especially if there is some traditional food that’s keto, you could say, “Oh, I’ve heard so much about ________, and I was really hoping to try some.”

In Tibet they butter their tea, and I wouldn’t be surprised if they do the same in Nepal. That couldn’t hurt, certainly.
