Traveling on a plane...butter and coconut oil is it allowed through TSA?

(Richard M Martin) #1

Traveling in a couple of days…any ideas?

At the airport, don’t mention fat bombs.

Quoting from TSA: You are allowed to bring a quart-sized bag of liquids, aerosols, gels, creams and pastes in your carry-on bag and through the checkpoint. These are limited to travel-sized containers that are 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters) or less per item.

Have you done this before?

(Doug) #5

Richard, I haven’t, but have seen lots of people carry a few 3 oz. containers on board a plane.

Take some coconut oil on a COLD DAY … no liquids here officer

Hi! Where are you traveling to? I wonder how come you want to travel with butter and coconut oil, and how come not more/other food as well. :doughnut:

Someone else shared these so I bought them to facilitate oils in my luggage.

“Do you have more than 3 ounces of liquid?”

Depends on the temperature.
