Tracking spot check

(Allie) #1

I stopped tracking everything in July last year and feel so much better for it! Today I decided to do a random spot check so reinstalled the MFP app and here’s what I got…

Seems like you have gotten the hang of it. Pretty spot on I would say.

What do you eat for carbs and how is your potassium intake?

(Allie) #3

This is the nutrition info for today.

Carbs today just the scoop of greens powder I mixed into my olive oil / almond milk based shake, and a handful of almonds.

Doesn’t get any better than that! I’m considering when I stop tracking. I mean why? I generally know the make up of the foods I eat. I do think it has allowed me discipline for the six months since I began.

I went back into my Fitday from to ten years ago and ate the same during Atkins induction (but with less fat).

Good show!

Nice!

I’m really glad I stopped tracking, couldn’t go back to doing it all the time. My stress levels are much improved with not having to weigh / measure everything, and I’m still getting the results I want so all good :grinning:

I’m rapidly becoming a lazy tracker. Lol

(Allie) #8

@Darlene_Horsley that’s what happened with me, I got lazy for a while the decided if I wasn’t going to do it properly then why bother at all, so stopped.

(Darlene Horsley) #9

Right?! I get tired of entering my own recipes and double checking the carbs on pre-entered items on MFP.

(Allie) #10

Exactly, it’s a lot of work. Very useful tool, but once you know what to do, not necessary.

(Darlene Horsley) #11

Truth!

When you put that data into MFP, did Siri not make an automated call to your GP, then cause your iPhone to smoke and spontaneously combust?

:joy:
Siri is disabled on my phone :joy:
