So what is your top regular podcast recommendations related to Keto WOE, health and wellness, etc.? Are they daily, weekly or ? Obviously 2KD is awesome. What/who else?

  1. High Intensity Health - Mike Mutzel
  2. Dr Rhonda Patrick - Foundmyfitness

Both these guys are awesome - they really get to the nuts and bolts of things and are very interested in mechanisms.

Favorite for Mike’s interviews:

  • Interview with Dr Stasha Gominak - Vitamin D
  • Interview with Dr Jong Rho - ketogenic diet

Favourite for Rhonda’s interviews:

  • Interview with Dr Satchin Panda on Circadian Rhythm - 2 interviews

I will be controversial here, after a period of listening to them all I have now dropped most except 2KD. Simply listen to the back catalogue and you will not need anymore.

Sorry Richard/Carl on your other projects but this is how I feel now, the information sort of then goes around saying the same old things. I only listen to others if they provide some new information, which is rare now and understandably so.

With a caveat that I have only listened to 2KD so far, and while I agree that the similar topics will be discussed repeatedly over the lifetime of a podcast, differently targeted podcasts will appeal more to different people and thus the net is cast wider, drawing in more people and raising awareness of the Ketogenic lifestyle. In advertising terms, this could also increase the number of “impressions” the target audience receives and may result in someone taking Keto seriously as opposed to walking on by. It helps create a movement.

I’m still only 2 thirds through the 2KD archive, but very much looking forward to hearing the pilot episodes from the new podcasts.

agreed and after 18 months trawling and listening to podcasts it has come down to a simple choice of what to continue listening to for unique content and enjoyable listen. Not dissing any other podcaster in the space, all do their own valuable job but I feel many have grown stale, tired and need fresh look.

I hear you. I only have so many podcast hours available in a week and my time is also shared with software development podcasts. The cream will surely rise to the top

I like Ketovangelist and the Ketovangelist Kitchen. They are once a week. The 2KD is my favorite and I like the Obesity Code one too. There are a lot out there and I’ve tried others but these are the favorites. Best of luck to you.

my favorite is Keto for Normies.
they have a youtube and make awesome videos and podcasts.

one video they have is really great- they test out all of the artificial sweeteners and show how each one impacts their blood glucose and ketone levels. they do one a day until they get all of them done (stevia, sucralose, etc.)
Their youtube name is “Keto Connect”

(Rob) #13

Simply the DotNetRocks podcast which is for .NET software developers (@carl created that podcast too). He shared his Keto story on there.
