To Serve Man

I’m watching the Fathead Movie and I keep thinking of this: Maybe the USDA RDA is actually fattening us up on purpose?

Also this.

Ug, makes me disgusted just thinking about it.

Soylent Green for rich people on Keto, maybe? Lol.

Soylent sure is REALLY expensive. Hubby used it last summer 'cause he was just sick of eating. I’m trying to get him fat adapted now so he can go on fasts without all the hangry.

? Lol. I guess hiring the hitman was probably a budget killer.

(Soylent Green is an old-people reference, it’s a movie about using people as a food source. So fat people would be an even better food source, if you’re keto.)

Um, yeah, I know. Soylent Green isn’t as old as the Twilight Zone. You don’t recognize the picture and title of the episode? “To Serve Man”?

I was just saying, in an ironic sort of way, that my husband tried Soylent and he had to stop 'cause it was too expensive.

I really wish they dyed Soylent an actual green. That would be so cool! LOL

Lol. sorry, I misunderstood. Actually, I didn’t realize the second post was from you, the original poster, who definitely got their own joke! Duh. I’m fasting - blame it on the ketones!

I just saw the movie. Interesting that while he lost weight the trans fats lowered his hdl in only 28 days.

Ah yes, “To Serve Man,” what a blast from the past.

Back in my freshman year of college (1981) there were back to back episodes of “The Zone” from 11 to midnight in the dorm TV lounge. This episode was probably the most popular, along with “Willoughby.”

@ladylyssa I am really enjoying your posts. Actually, your humor and avatar photo remind me of my cousin! Anyway, just wanted to say that!
