SO I have been down with severe food poisoning for the last two days. I have been having monstrous cravings for sugary things (not carb in general. Very very specifically, only sweet.) and I knew that something is wrong. I have been overeating for two days, resulting in the food poisoning. The doctor has prescribed certain antibiotics but I am also required to eat before taking the medicines.
A. I am not hungry all the time. I have very little appetite. The food which are traditionally recommended while enduring a food poisoning are all carbs: bananas, rice, legume soup. No meat, no oil, no dairy, no eggs. I am running out of food options. Help.
B. I am extremely bloated and would ideally have teas, cold teas, bone broth and electrolytes and tons of water and fast - but my BP is 90/60 for a few days now and I am feeling dizzy all the time. My final exam start in four days and i’m not being able to get out of the bed. I had sprained my ankle last month and had deviated from any sort of exercise regime. I had just started getting back on the track, and then, all of a sudden, started craving sweets. I know trusting the process and sticking to it is the key, and I don;t want to eat rice for a week. I have had rice and banana and sugar yesterday and am feeling rather unwell because I didn’t like the taste of most of the carbs I ate. I want to stick to a keto meal from this afternoon onward which will not aggravate my food poisoning.
