  1. your body compensates by reducing the amount of calories it burns. It will even lower its own body temp to conserve energy.

Ahhhhhhhh! So that’s why I am so cold lately. I’ve been struggling to eat a lot of dinner, my calories have been evening out at 900-1200. It’s winter time but I have been abnormally cold!

Me too. I know I am fat adapted, but I still get cold on fasting days, especially the 2nd night of a fast.
Cheers

Honestly I’ve just moved into a new unit, right beside the other unit I used to live in and thought I was going mad. There’s no change in temperature, that’s just me. Lol.

I am on a fast today, so I have my 2nd night tonight. As you know it is cold in SE Aus right now… brrrrrrr… :snowflake::scream::rofl:

I just got the Complete Guide to Fasting, I am hoping there is some insight into how to fight the psychological side of extended fasting.

ETA I don’t count anything and it is liberating.

I tried but couldn’t find it.:disappointed:

It’s a common complaint among people who do CICO diets. And when body temp was measured in one study, they found those doing calorie restricted diets had lower body temperatures.

That says CD, not audio kindle. Is that what you meant?

Never mind. I was able to find audible book from there. I swear it wasn’t an option when I purchased it the first time. I got the two at the same time and it was listed for the Obesity Code but not this one. Strange.

Audiobook selection?

Hi everyone,

Almost 3 weeks new to Keto and so far loving it although last few days have felt quite hungry and from ready above I think this may be trying to stick under 1500 calories per day.

From what I am reading on this forum I should be focusing more on achieving the macros and setting them based on “maintenance” macros suggested rather than lose weight?

Sorry trying to get my head around it all…not in fat adaptation yet but looking forward to it and haven’t really lost a great deal of weight (less than 2kg in the 3 weeks) I currently weigh 81kg, 175cm tall and hoping to lose 8-10kg…
