Tmi poop question

** TMI POOP POST ***
Hopefully it’s okay to talk about poop here because I have a question… I’ve been doing intermittent fasting about an eight hour window of eating, and I’m going to be four weeks into keto on Monday my appetite and my energy is finally back I’m 10 pounds down feeling a lot better than I was except for this one issue…liquid yellow diarrhea  is this a part of intermittent fasting and keto I’m a little freaked out because it’s also a symptom of cdiff I’m trying not to freak out and get worried that I’m sick again because I don’t feel sick I actually feel really good minus the fact that I am running to the bathroom half the day. the second part to this question is it okay to take Pepto on a semi regular basis to help with this I can’t find any information on whether or not there is sugar and carbs in it and I am not allowed to take Imodium because of the cdiff history. TIA and sorry for the shitty post :joy::joy::poop::poop::poop:

I had and still do have the same thing on occasion. Typically after having an oil laden salad on an omad day. Usually 2-3 rounds and then I’m good to go.

Too much oil does it for me - even at two meals a day. Also, too much HWC. Some on this forum do use Peptobismol. I just have learned to avoid what triggers it.

What is HWC sorry I’m new to all this it’s good to know I’m not alone at least I know it’s probably part of the diet and not that I’m sick. I think I’m going to try to add a little bit more psyllium husk fiber to help bulk things up add see if that helps.

Heavy Whipping Cream.

Have you been around anyone with c-diff lately? Taken any heavy duty antibiotics? Minus either of those scenarios it’s doubtful you have c-diff. Nothing smells quite like c-diff poo

If it was me and this persisted more than 36hrs, I would seek medical attention.

No my whole family had it for a year, (our story is on the Peggy lillis foundation under Jessica lavoy). So basically we assume to be colonized so no testing we treat based on symptoms only and have prescriptions on hand if we become symptomatic. No antibiotics for any of us in 2 years! I dont feel sick I actually feel better than I have in years (except the poops) I don’t want to waste the rx if unneeded it’s expensive. I’m going to try upping my psyllium husk fiber.and see if that helps. It only started when I Started the intermittent fasting so I’m thinking it’s gotta be that. I return to normal in the evening and first thing in the morning after I eat my lunch and dinner. I think it’s just the lack of food in my system and only water it’s giving me d for half the day. I will skip IF for a few days and see if it stops.

Doing much better. I believe it was a combination of factors. I stopped my iron, started fish oil and intermittent fasting and a green food protein supplement all at the same time. So i stopped it all. restarted my iron, started back up on the Saccharomyces Boullardi. Restsrted the fish oil and reintroduced the intermittent fasting and only a lower amount of the green food supplement and I am doing much better now.
