Time to get back on the keto horsie 🐴🐎🦄

Hi guys I haven’t been on here for a long while. I started keto in 1/01/2020 and I did well on this WOE for months and months. I could think more clearly, was more creative, didn’t need as much sleep. I did OMAD, but I got obsessed as it started out Three meals a day, then a few days later two then OMAD, then a few days later I went full Carnivore. :meat_on_bone: I was doing well but then started drinking vodka ( I’ve stopped now) but that led to stuffing up my carbless lifestyle AND made me freaking sick as well. So anyway I developed Anorexia by accident by starving myself to make up for the calories in the vodka… I was drinking 700ml a night :roll_eyes: So now I want to go back on keto again. I miss the lifestyle, I miss this forum, and I miss the food and not always being hungry and craving sugar.:see_no_evil: So I’m going to buy keto food and this time make more of an effort to make the food nice ( instead of ugly on porpoise for photos :wink::upside_down_face:). So I’m looking forward to the benefits of keto again.:heart:

Be careful, you shouldn’t lose your crazy :crazy_face: Ugly food art has its role too!

If keto really gave you those benefits while carbs cause cravings, yep, do keto and somehow make sure you eat enough. It will be hard I fear… Don’t buy too much leaner protein.
(Why can’t I eat for you? :smiley: I am too good at eating, you are too bad. So we both need to fight our battles.)
Maybe this forum can help you seeing if you eat way too little or wrong if you post your meals…?

@Shinita Hahaha Thanks babe :upside_down_face: Oh Thank you and you KNOW I’ll never lose my crazy.:wink::sweat_smile::speak_no_evil: Yeah it turns out that I felt better on keto than I do when I starve for 5 days and then eat Burger King :thinking::scream: I’m too full and look 8 months pregnant atm.:joy_cat: I’ll make sure I eat more this time on keto. HI and welcome back! I am super happy to read you got thru your recovery time, I know it was tough for you!! Keto is a fine plan to make you feel better for sure! Jump in and eat well and of course you will always be crazy, HA, never lose that fun crazy ya got B!

700 ml a night of vodka is impressive. Just neat? (Meaning, nothing but vodka?)

I got fat drinking good beer. A 6-pack to 12-pack at times, followed by pizza, then followed by ice cream.

Now, I try to limit my alcohol consumption to 1-2 drinks per week. Usually, red wine or hard liquor (gin, sometimes vodka + something). I don’t find it that difficult, mainly because my mental state is better under keto. Before, I was doing Pritikin (very low fat, high carb), and getting depressed, then drinking. It was a cycle.

Being keto for as long as I’ve been has meant much better metal states.

A few years ago, my husband and I were sitting in the cafe area of a local grocery store late on a Friday afternoon people watching. Most of the men came out with beer and icecream. We thought that was funny. I guess they were ordering the pizza once they got home. :crazy_face:
