I’m just a layperson, but Thanks to any and everyone who supported Tim through this., Hopefully this is the end of it but if not let’s all keep supporting him in the future.

It’s all very exciting. I expect the HPCSA and Claire Jusling Starling to issue a full apology to Professor Noakes any year now.

I have frightened swimming pool lifeguards when I hold my breath as long as I can when I’m experimenting but I don’t think I could make it that long… However, with luck they will have to shut up going forward…

I cannot believe how much time, effort and public money has been wasted on this witch hunt. And Prof N has stayed so steadfast, calm and professional all throughout - amazing guy.

I’m not trying to convince, I am more than aware that it is a lost cause. But if I can make some folks feel sheepish (or stupid- depending on how one wants to put it…) all the better.

I am suffering from shortcomings in the western medical system and sometimes (this evening for example) feel that if I can give some payback then I’m willing to do so. And willing to ask for help (not that I’m advocating any kind of vigilantiism mind you!)

As a not-so-great analogy, like a tsunami, there has been a massive earthquake and the waves are only starting to move, the more we can spread the message now, the more we will be able to later tell people “We told you so”.

I don’t want to lay too much blame on medical folks right now, they are only spreading the information they have been given. But, when the time comes, if we are able to point to our past actions (that is, at times like this, pointing out to them what the science says), the less opportunity they will have to escape scrutiny and responsibility for where the health of society has found itself. i.e. they can’t say “I didn’t know” or “I was only following directions” Didn’t work at Nuremburg, a large part of me feels it shouldn’t work now…

What a great interview! I don’t think solicitors usually care quite so much for their clients. It seems this was a very unusual legal team, and their affection for Dr. Noakes is heartwarming.

Amazing! I am a dietitian and what happened to him is beyond words for me. I am so glad he beat this! We all need to let go of our confirmation bias and become more open minded!

The prosecution team are using “doctors” from “The Institute of Medical such and such” (sorry I can’t remember the name exactly). A very academic and research sounding name … owned by … non other than Coca Cola. I’m sure it’s all about the science with no vested interest there.
