Ive lost 35 pounds since jan 1rst.
Doing things as close to perfection as possible.
Ill do carbs once a week max without guilt. But the reason behind this post is for the last week of so im noticing a slight headache that it lingers all day long and i feel pressure in my head mostly my ears and my eyes at times. Im worried.

Well, to begin with, congrats! I started when you did and am down 45 lbs! I started to have the headaches you’re talking about two weeks ago. I was also super fatigued. Turns out my electrolytes were low. I started eating 1/2 tablespoon of salt a day, chased by a pint of water. About 2 days later I was almost back to normal. If I were you start with your salt intake.

I eat salty, i get my sea salt from chipotle restaurant, i will see what other ways i can get my electrolytes up also.

I agree, my headaches were all about salt and electrolytes, don’t forget magnesium as well.

Here is a very clean source I found on Amazon no artificial sweeteners:

Couldn’t resist. Sorry…not sorry

But in all seriousness I echo the above comments.

Lol i dig. But i broke it today because how bad i was feeling.

From what I’ve read, eating salty foods is not enough to get the electrolytes your body needs. Must…drink…ketoade! Or something like it.

(Jose Rodriguez) #9

Exactly. I eat salty n it’s not enough. This headaches n blurry vision is scary.

Oh no! There’s a simple recipe for ketoaide somewhere in the forum. Just type ketoaide recipe in the search and it will pop up. Water, lite salt and a bottle of magnesium citrate is all you need.
