This might be my Last week on keto

My daughter, who is also a teenager, has gotten a really small waist eating low carb. Hormones and food still affect her size due to occasional bloating, and that’s only natural. She eats as much as she wants, and doesn’t waste energy tracking. You probably have a good metabolic health, and can allow yourself to experiment with different amounts of protein and fat, as well as adding in healthy carbs like berries.

It is very important to eat enough. If you cut calories at you size, you are less likely to lose fat, and overeating (still low carb) once evry few days could make you see faster changes.

I get the impreaaion from what you are writing, that your waist has gotten smaller. If this ia the case, you should start tracking measurements instead of weight. The scale does not know the difference between strong and weak bones, good muscles and bad fat. A measure tape will tell you where you lose fat, and when you reach a healthy figure. It’s mostly about the waist/hip and waist/height ratios.

It’s so sweet of you! Thank you!
I realized that Dairy and nuts are not a problem to me so when my 4 days fast will be over (tomorrow evening) I will reintroduce them.
I’m planning on eating more protein and fat, so I’ll be a lot more satisfied after The meal.
Also, I’ll try to consume at least 2000 calories/day.
Let’s See what happens.
I’m just a bit confused about how many protein is too much protein. Will eating too much protein destroy my fat adaptation?

If you’re on medication that causes weight gain, then it’s already a victory to not be gaining. Is it possible to talk to your doctor about changing to a different medication that might not cause weight gain?

I have an appointment set tomorrow.

As far as protein destroying fat adaption, I don’t think that will happen. If you eat WAY too much it can turn to glucose, but that is something I’m still learning about and experimenting with for me personally. I’m trying to find my personal threshold to minimize my glucose levels and maximize my ketone levels.

I am NOT trying to lose weight, but have other health issues I’m trying to keep in check, so I am careful about how much protein I eat and what my blood readings are. Its not critical to measure, but it can be helpful if you are trying to figure out what is going on with your body.
