On Saturday, I started getting pains just under the bottom of my ribs.
Went to the loo 3 times that day, and have been going twice ever since, although the pain has subsided. My too much info, is that my poop has turned white! Is that normal? Plus, I don’t eat enough food to go twice a day anyway! Seem to go an hour after eating, or drinking anything.
This may be too much information!
Your pancreas is freaking out and you are probably not digesting fat properly.
See a doctor as standard recommendation.
You might also do some research on pancreatitis and the foods that can set off the inflammation. Stop all consumption of alcohol, potentially clear fluids only for about a week.
Good luck!
Hi, bile is what causes your poo to be brown.
Produced by the liver and stored in the gall bladder before being released then we eat fat.
Would suggest seeing your doctor asap if still in pain.
Didnt bowel issues put you in the ER last time ? I could be wrong here … wrong person, etc.
That happened to me when I had a gaul stone obstructing bile. Get to a doctor.
Scary stuff. See a doctor. I spent 2 months in the hospital in a coma with a feeding tube after my pancreas went out. FYI, pain on right is liver or gall, pain on left is pancreas or stomach. You can experience all over though. I got severe pain in the center and back with pancreatitis
Please don’t look to the internet for serious health issues. Stop what you’re doing and consult a real doctor
Good luck
Your liver is not working correctly, definitely sounds like impaired hepatic function!
I have seen that before and that’s what it was!
Definitely see a doctor!
Have you had an X-ray done recently? Past few days. Barium is often used to give a contrast in the X-ray I believe. Barium will create white stool.
You should go immediately. It’s always better playing it safe when it comes to things like this. Don’t wait another day. If you have a regular doctor that has your records, call him ASAP. Hopefully there is something in your history that can explain it.
God bless, you got a whole bunch of us worried for you. Keep calm, and get in the car and go!
God bless. When you have a chance, please let us know how you’re doing.
possibly completely obstructed gallbladder duct, very painful, and although it is pretty easy to sort out when you know what it is, it can rapidly escalate into a bunch of more serious things if you don’t get it sorted, here’s hoping you have something minor but painful, and have caught it early enough…
Best of luck at the hospital and please keep us updated on how you are doing. Sending you lots of positive thoughts.
Good luck. Hopefully it’s nothing serious. Get a second opinion if they want to remove your gall bladder…unless it’s an emergency
I link white poo to gall bladder (which is of course linked to the liver). I can’t remember if it happened to me before or after my gall bladder was removed. Possibly both! It’s ghostly and unnerving.
The pain went on for weeks while I was tested to find the problem. Whoever I saw first diagnosed indigestion, then constipation, so I left that office and went to an internist/gastroenterologist. He knew at once but didn’t say so, and wouldn’t commit without tests for corroboration. Tests were inconclusive.
After all the testing, the surgeon said he was 75% certain a gall bladder removal would fix the problem, so what did I want to do? I opted for removal asap! No other options were offered, and anyway it turned out to be right.
I include all this in case anything similar happens to anyone else. Apparently it was an non-standard presentation of gall bladder disease.
All this time, I was asking the doctors how I ought to eat, and was told the usual:SAD.
I’m so happy I found the RIGHT answer!
