Think I messed up

Hey been doing keto for over a month now and started at 168 and now 157. But my family wanted to go to bojangles and that’s ok usually I get the roasted bits(their the only keto thing I like from there lol) but I also got a small fry… when I looked it up it has 20 carbs I’m at 36 carbs for the day and prob won’t eat again tonight. So do y’all think that will knock me out of keto? I also worked out today

Some folks can stay in ketosis as high as 50 g of carbs. 20 g is usually the recommendation because almost anyone can get into ketosis when keeping carbs at that level, and maintaining moderate protein.

So it’s not likely to be a disaster, per se, but I’d avoid the fries in the future. Working out can help by depleting glycogen in the muscles, and leaving more places for the glucose from the carbs to go, but it’s not something you want to count on, particularly if you’re still insulin-resistant.

Just put in a good workout of fast for a couple days. Nobody’s perfect!

Hey, welcome to reality! Seriously, getting right back on board is your next meal away. I messed up myself today. Chili and cornbread got me. Meh. NBD. Nobody is perfect all the time. Relax and keto on!
