Thermogenics?

(Summer) #1

Do these work? And if so, which ones on keto?

I’m sure they can, but just eating Whole Foods will make Keto so much easier and way less expensive for you! Your body will decide on what’s healthy for weight loss for it!

@Sdunne

Don’t want to burst any bubbles here for you Summer but pretty much every OTC supplement designed as a thermo enhancer is generally nothing more than a caffeine supplement that gives an energy/mental boost, and a few handfuls of pseudo-science herbs and other ingredients thrown in for good measure. These things are marketed at those who want quick fixes and have money to burn.

I’ve tried everything going, literally everything from Ephedrine, ECA Stacks, Green Tea Supplements, all the usual stuff from USN. I’ve even tried Clenbuterol which is a genuine steroid well known in body building circles, none of these added anything really to what I was doing with my diet.

To boost your levels, you’re better off looking at a solid exercise program, and a moderate calorie deficit based food plan. that can be keto based of course.

All of the ingredients listed might well contribute the whole picture, but you’re talking miniscule in comparison to what the body can do with a decent black coffee, exercise, calorie deficits and eating good quality food.

Yup. I don’t know much about the calorie deficits part of it but the rest, I’m with ya.

I never counted calories. Never really cared. I do eat very little sugars and starches where I used to eat massive amounts of them so that might be a calorie reduction. (?) Honest, I eat good food and I don’t go hungry. :slight_smile:
