I have yet to experience the whoosh effect, and I’ve been plateaued for several months now. I started to lose slowly again after eliminating nuts, but gained last week, so that progress is gone again. If you’re closer to goal, will the whoosh still happen? How large of a cheat meal (does it really have to be carbs?) is needed. I broke down and ate half a bowl of nuts last night (I’m feeling sick right now). Is that sufficient? I can totally live with eating a bowl of nuts once a month if that’ll do it. Or fruit.

And how many pounds lost are observed during a whoosh?
