The journey is about more than losing weight

Simply “losing weight” is a good thing but is not necessarily a good indicator of better health or much improved health.

People lose weight everyday but many if not most of those who do have done nothing to fix the underlying metabolic conditions that caused them to gain the weight in the first place thus they are still “unhealthy” and more than likely will regain the weight or even worse develop a proverbial ticking time bomb that often goes unnoticed by them and even the medical professionals that they trust because they remain solely or primarily focused on “weight”.
