The irony of it!

(Darlene Horsley) #1

SMDH. How big of them.

(karen) #2

Seriously, Fuck them. This is disgusting.

(Karen) #3

Goodness, don’t think I could drink that much of anything.

K

(icky) #4

Ouch

(Alec) #5

I love the “Help us find a cure” Tagline. Errrr… lads… over here!:nerd_face:

(Sophie) #6

Perpetuating the misery…how good of them. :disappointed:

(LeeAnn Brooks) #7

Where is Captain Obvious when you need him?

(Rob) #8

That pretty much says it all.

(Bunny) #9

Priceless!

(Jay AM) #10

I had to look it up to see if it was even real. It was in 2011 but not nationwide apparently. The JDRF actually defended the promotion by saying they research type 1 diabetes which isn’t caused by excess sugar. The other irony is that the kids it benefits have to tightly control blood sugar and couldn’t even drink it.

(LeeAnn Brooks) #11

Yeah, even if someone buys the argument that sugar doesn’t contribute to diabetes, they still should see the flaw in using it to promote something that those with the condition can’t use.

It’s like giving out free bags of peanuts to promote allergy awareness.

(Sophie) #12

Unfortunately, the irony of that flies over the heads of the majority. :expressionless:

#13

It is no different than drug lords feeding the hungry, it isso they can feel like heros

(Alec) #14

It’s so that demand stays high.
