Yes — so true. I don’t really often read magazines now anyway… but still sad. I can’t believe anything in print or on the news anymore. It’s rather depressing.

As an Lifestyle Medicine Doc who continually has to explain and defend the benefits of a ketoadapted lifestyle (obviously not for every body), it is so frustrating to see the perpetuation of bad info like you found in Prevention magazine. My first question is always, who funded the so-called expert research?
That being said, I wonder if more people took the time to write to editors/journalists/researchers and refute the bad information it would make a difference. The magazine simply wants to sell copy…
Imagine what would happen if even half the people in this forum wrote to Prevention magazine’s editor?

Just a thought…
