I’m still a “newby”, just starting my 5th week, and I am surprised at how awesome I feel! I’m 45 yo female, and I can tell you my story later, but it’s the standard “every diet”, the first when I was 7 yrs old, gastric sleeve in 2008, vegan/vegetarian 2011-2017 (omg, I felt bad during that time). Finally gave up and started paying attention to how foods made me feel. I quit eating sugar in August, to see how I felt, and after eating and Oreo brownie a week later I had no desire for any of that again. Ten minutes after eating it I was nauseous, joints ached, headache, brain fog, fatigue. Sept 10th I decided to eat keto because I already felt better and I love butter, meat, bacon, cheese, etc. I have lost 14 pounds total so far (8 wk1, 4 wk2, 0 wk3, 2 wk4) but I’m happy all the time now, I have energy (I used to take at least one nap a day), I feel stronger than I have in years, and my libido is coming back (my husbad is happy). People at work keep trying to figure out what’s different about me, the sparkle in my eyes now. They can’t accept that it’s just my food. Lol! Long story short, I’m thankful I found this site with all you wonderful people!
