Swelling

My brand new socks are too tight around my upper ankle and I ended up with edema just at my ankle bone yesterday. This is the first time my feet have been swollen since starting keto 9 weeks ago. It was a sight to behold, I wish I had taken pictures to share with y’all. The rest of my foot was fine, though.

MOAR WATER!

I’m so thankful I don’t swell nearly as much as I did 50 pounds ago. Although I must admit I haven’t taken any summer road trips yet to compare.

A few years ago we drove down to visit all of the N.P.s in southern Utah and after a few days, it was like I was walking around on two volleyballs. Took a week of being home for the swelling to subside.

Sounds like you might want to get some compression socks. I got some when a job i had required standing all day. While my feet or ankles never got obviously swollen, it was enough to make standing painful anfter only a couple hours. Compression socks knocked that right out. If my feet did start to get tender a quick break of just a few minutes was all that’s needed to refresh them. being as heavy as I was my lower leg was quite tapered and I had to use special glue to keep them on, but other than that I loved them.
