Survey to study the impact of Diet on Health

Hey all! I am a college student and I am studying the impact of diet on health! It would be so, so helpful if you could take some time to fill this survey. You don’t have to be a strict follower of Keto diet, other diets (paleo, IF, non-vegetarian, vegetarian, vegan) are all welcomed!!

Thank you all and stay safe!

I filled out your survey but one question I could not answer properly. It was the one about a keto diet increasing your blood lipids and in parentheses said cholesterol and triglycerides.

A typical keto diet raises cholesterol but lowers triglycerides so neither yes nor no was correct.

Thank you very much! I apologize for the mistake, I should have only mentioned cholesterol. I’ll surely edit that in the survey, thanks for letting me know!

Have a good day and stay safe!

I filled it out too --I found an issue with the end questions about Intermittent Fasting – I had to put I don’t follow this --buttt I do --because it mentioned Diabetics for both of those questions and that doesn’t pertain to me as I have never been diabetic.

I did not complete this survey, it is biased to vegetarian/vegan way of eating? The last few questions clearly show that bias.

I don’t understand why people join this forum, post these type surveys, then disappear. I’m muting this thread because of these issues.

Hi! Firstly, thank you for your time. I am sorry regarding the confusion. The last section have optional questions and the questions regarding diabetes was actually an optional one!

Just to be clear though, I have now added the option of “I am not diabetic” for future respondents! I’ll keep your response into consideration when I am analyzing the data.

Again, sorry for the confusion and thank you for letting me know! Have a good day and stay safe.

Hi! The last few questions are based on pre-existing research done on all the diets, hence it seems biased. I do not intend to offend anyone with these questions, and neither did I come up with the concepts myself, as these points have been mentioned in several research papers and I am simply studying them. I hope you understand.

I apologize if I offended anyone, and thank you for your time!

What kind of diet do YOU follow? Seriously?

I gotta agree with @collaroygal, you clearly have a bias in this are are directing the answers into a way that shows… something that you want it to.

Increasing your total cholesterol does NOT mean your lipid profile is worse off! You can increase your cholesterol and have a VERY improved lipid profile vs the start. Keto will typically raise total, but also raise HDL and lower LDL and REALLY lower Triglycerides in most cases. That ratios will be BETTER. Don’t steer the question into a Yes/No that doesn’t tell anybody anything useful.

Really? Again… pretty much pushed that one into a specific direction.

Again, trying to get a specific answer much?

Keep getting better!
