Survey help for research paper?

If this is not allowed please delete

As some if you know, I am in a doctoral program for clinical psychology. I am in a research class where we need to run a mock project to get used to the procedures we will go through for our thesis. As a part if it, we have generated survey studies.

Could you help a girl out? If interested… it is only 10 minutes or so and is completely anonymous. It is about mental health treatment, motivation for change and health decision making.

The link is to copy and paste into the browser is:

I will come back to hyperlink it when not limited to my phone.

Thanks either way!

We have allowed researchers to post such links before, and the results have been interesting, so I would encourage people to participate, if they want to.

I did it. Hope it helps. The survey seemed a bit oddly flawed, like most do. But like you say, it is a mock project so not that important.

It was fun, and I wish pets could participate. My rats would have enjoyed the questionnaire.

Yeah it is an awkward assignment with lots of grey areas. But thank you for looking at it!

When it comes to my official project I will be spinning ideas in here since so many are interested in science of keto. That will be within this next upcoming year so stay tuned!

I completed it as well, Carolyn, the only question I couldn’t was the working status, there wasn’t one for homemaker, all were students or working.

(Carolyn aka stokies) #7

Awesome and ty for pointing that out

#8

Being a homemaker is more work than many other jobs.

Some of the wording was also awkward. Things like “slightly unlikely” where “slightly disagree” would fit better, same with the other questions/responses. Also, you had an “extremely likely” but I didn’t see its opposite “extremely unlikely”

I agree with you the wording for the replys can use some tweaking. @KetoCancerMom.

Also noticed lots of choices for being a student or worker. How about adding:
Retired
Stay at home parent
Unemployed

Done

So where’s my free hug at?

Will there be bacon involved?

Alright Captain Sparky, survey done.

If someone new we don’t know posts a survey, we like to check it out and see what is up, but we know Stokies, so it’s all good. And I checked out your uni online. Wikipedia gives me a good vibe. I like the experience as part of the training idea.

It is sad you don’t allow robots to take the survey. Marvin, surely, would have valuable input. secret H2G2 reference. but not that secret.

I answered the income question rather than taking the “rather not say” option. But I always wonder about this question. Why ask? What does it tell you? I have an extreemly low income. But I also have the life I have chosen. And am happy with my choice. So, wha’s up wi’ tha’?

(Carolyn aka stokies) #14

It is just one factor that could demonstrate lack of resources potentially impacting a decision when costs are involved. Kinda like who can afford epipens now… that sort perspective.

(Hyperbole- best thing in the universe!) #15

That makes a lot of sense! Thanks!

(Carolyn aka stokies) #16

Some of the questions were specific from a validated scale couldn’t edit. But I completely hear that! Thanks so much for input!

Absolutely factors I will consider for the real study when launch a more organized and focused project. Thank you for the feedback!!!
